NATS3 SexGoesMobile (SGM)
Note: Third-parties do not notify NATS about new sales and sign-ups immediately -- there may be up to a 24-hour delay before NATS records third-party transactions.
NATS3 offers SGM integration through the Third Party Admin. Third Parties are sites that provide additional content to your members for an additional fee. With SGM, you can create a mobile tour for each of your sites, or for each of your regular tours.
Third Party Admin
To add SGM to your NATS install, you must first configure it through the Third Party Admin. Go to the Third Party Admin, scroll down to the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page, select "SexGoesMobile", and click Add.
After you have added SGM to your list of third parties, click the "Edit Account Info" action icon. You will then be prompted to provide the fees (by percentage or dollar amount) that are charged by SexGoesMobile. Use the "Deduct" drop-down menu to determine when you want these fees deducted from income (before affiliate payout, which will affect the amount they receive, after affiliate payout, or never).
Next, fill in your Username, Password, and Link ID that you received from SGM, then fill out your Default NATS Code (optional). Click Save once you have configured these options.
Sites Admin
The next step to configuring SGM is to add it to the Sites Admin. To do so, go to the Sites Admin and click the "Add a Site" tab at the top of the page.
On the next page, set your site type to "3rd Party" and enter your desired Site Name and Short Name. Once you have done that, select "Sex Goes Mobile" from the "3rd Party" drop-down menu. Enter your site's linkdomain and enter your "SGM URL" under the "Third Party Partner Details" section of the page.
Fill in any additional settings you wish to configure, then click Save Changes once you have finished configuring your site.
Programs Admin
To continue configuring SGM, go to the Programs Admin and create a new disabled program.
Note: You can also create a new enabled program, but we recommend you create a disabled program, as new affiliates will not be automatically enrolled in this program. When you're ready for your affiliates to send traffic through this program, you can enable it to automatically enroll all current affiliates in the program.
Fill in the required information here and choose the Standard Program option from the "Program Type" drop-down menu. Click Add Program once you have done this to create your new program.
Next, scroll down to the "Sites In This Program" section, choose Sex Goes Mobile from the available drop-down menu and click "Add." After your program has been added, click the pencil icon on the far right in the bottom section of the page to edit your payout options for this program. Click Save once you have entered your desired payout amounts or percentages.
Type-In Traffic
After you configure a site and program for SexGoesMobile use, you can get an affiliate linkcode for your type-in or in-house account. Once you have the NATS code from that linkcode, go back to the Third Party Admin, edit SexGoesMobile, and paste in your type-in traffic affiliate account's NATS code into the default NATS code field. NATS will now be able to track type-in traffic for SexGoesMobile.
Note: The selected affiliate will receive credit for all type-in traffic you send to SexGoesMobile. Please see our Getting The NATSCode wiki article for help getting a NATSCode.
You should also provide all of the IPs on your NATS server to the third party service provider so that all polling and transactions posting events do not get blocked.
Additional Setup
Adding Tours
SGM requires some additional setup in order to add SGM functionality to your NATS install.
In order to use SGM to create mobile tours for your sites, you must create a new third party site to be used with SGM, so that NATS can accurately track your third party referrals.
For example, if you have 5 membership sites set in NATS, you can create a new third party site for SGM that contains 5 separate tours -- each third party tour here represents a mobile tour created by SGM for each of your membership sites.
Instead of creating new tours for each site you want to use SGM with, you can also add a new third party site in NATS for each site you want to use SGM with. So using the previous example, you would have to create 5 new third party sites with SGM compatibility -- one for each of your membership sites that you want to add a mobile tour to.
strack
In order to enable SGM functionality with your NATS install, you must also alter the weiche.php script provided to you by SGM to update the URL included in the script.
Locate the weiche.php script on your server, and find the URL contained in that script. This must be replaced with a NATS Strack link, which allows you to change the program, site, and tour used in that redirect. This ensures that your surfers will be redirected to your SGM tour correctly.
To do so, use the following sample URL:
http://<linkdomain>/strack/<nats_code>/<site_id_or_shortname>:<tour_id_or_shortname>/<program_id_or_shortname>/
Replace <linkdomain> in the above link with your site's linkdomain, <nats_code> with the site's default NATS code, <side_id> with the ID number of the site you wish to redirect to, <tour_id> with the ID number of the tour you wish to redirect to, and <program_id> with the ID number of the program you wish to redirect to.
Note: Program ID, Site ID, and Tour ID must be defined in the above strack link, otherwise SGM will not function properly with your NATS installation.
For more information on the strack feature in NATS, please see our NATS4 track and strack wiki article.
