- In the Ad Tools Admin, select Content and the site from the drop-downs. Click Go! This brings up the Add Content form.
- To upload content:
- Name it
- Select or create a group
- Select a zip file to upload with the browse box
- Click Add.
- You can also enter the URL to a set if it is web accessible.
Mailer
- Go to the Ad Tools Admin, select Mailers and the site from the drop-downs. Click Go! This brings up the Add Mailer form.
- To set up an ad:
- Name it
- Select or create a group
- Select a thumbnail image to upload with the browse box (optional)
- The type of ad it is
- Zip file for the images needed in the add
- HTML that displays the zip file images
- Click Add.
- The target of all hyperlinks in the HTML should be replaced with {$link}.
Hosted Gallery
- Go to the Ad Tools Admin, select Hosted Ads and the site from the drop-downs. Click Go! This brings up the Add Gallery form.
- To set up a Hosted Ad:
- Name it
- Give it a short description
- Enter the URL and the Thumbnail's URL
- Select the type
- The number of items
- Select or create a group
- Click Add.
- You can set up the system to have up to 5 description or thumbnail boxes. See below.
- You use the bulk importer to add a list of hosted ads in a machine readable format.
Half/Full Page Ad
- Go to the Ad Tools Admin, select Half/Full Page Ads and the site from the drop-downs. Click Go! This brings up the Add Half/Full Page Ads form.
- To set up an ad:
- name it
- select or create a group
- select a thumbnail image to upload with the browse box (optional)
- the type of ad it is
- zip file for the images needed in the add
- HTML that displays the zip file images
- Click Add.
- The target of all hyperlinks in the HTML should be replaced with {$link}.
Banner
- Go to the Ad Tools Admin, select Banners and the site from the drop-downs. Click Go! This brings up the Add Banners form.
- Nine individual banners can be uploaded at once or multiple banners can be uploaded at once using a zip file. They should be split up by site and type.
- Currently only .jpeg's and .gif's are supported.
- To add a banner, select the banner (or zip) with the browse box, the type of image(s) it is, the site it's for, and click 'add'. A unique name is required on all uploads. Keep the 'keep file name' checked so NATS does not name it Banner123.
