RSBilling
Please don't test your biller setup with RSBilling's test account—it won't work correctly.
Setting Up on RSBilling's Website
Before you can begin setting up RSBilling as a biller in NATS3, you must first register an account with them. This can be done through their website at http://www.riverstyx.net/.
While registering with RSBilling, make sure to take down the Merchant ID, Merchant Password, Remote Server ID, Site ID, and Product ID that they provide for you. This information will be necessary for setting up RSBilling in NATS3.
Make sure that your server is allowed to access the domain, secure.sentrypayments.com, by River Styx Internet, so that your NATS installation will get the most up to date IP address list.
Setting up RSBilling in NATS
Billers Admin
To begin setting up RSBilling as a biller in NATS, go to the Billers Admin. Scroll down to the "Biller" drop-down menu, select RSBilling, and click "Add."
Note: If you don't see RSBilling as a biller, put in a support ticket, as you may need an updated version of NATS.
When prompted, fill our your transaction and chargeback fees, along with when you wish to deduct them. Fill in the Merchant ID, Merchant Password, and Remote Server ID that were provided to you by RSBilling under the "Account Info" section. If you were not provided with this information, please contact your biller to receive it.
Sites Admin
Next, go to the Sites Admin, create or edit a site, and scroll down to the "Biller Details" section. Find the "RSBilling" settings, and enter the Site ID for every site you have set up with RSBilling. You can find this information on the RSBilling administration "Edit Sites" webpage. If you were not provided with this information, please contact your biller.
Once you have done that, scroll down to the "Join Options this Site Offers" section and create or edit a join option to add RSBilling compatibility. Under "Biller Codes for this Join Option," enter the RSBilling Product ID for every join option you have set up with RSBilling. You can find your Product IDs in the "Edit Products" page on RSBilling's website.
Once you have filled out the available RSBilling fields on this page, click Save. RSBilling should now be ready and configured to process transactions in NATS3.
Notes
UpgradePlus
RSBilling offers the UpgradePlus feature, which allows you to shorten a Member's Trial by offering them incentives to upgrade in your site's Members Area. Most NATS users choose to do this by offering two separate Members Areas -- one with limited content for members with trial memberships, and one that offers full access to your content to members who paid in full. Once your member completes their upgrade, you will need to update your member record. Please see our NATS3 Upgrade Plus wiki article for more information on this feature.
When offering the UpgradePlus feature through RSBilling, you can also choose to add a delay on the UpgradePlus. By doing so, you can add a waiting period between the member choosing to upgrade their account, and receiving full access to your site's content. This can be useful for ensuring that member payments are valid before upgrading their account.
In order to activate the Delay feature on RSBilling's UpgradePlus, add the following line to your nats/includes/config.php file:
$config['RSBILLING_DELAY_UPGRADE'] = 1
This setting is set to 0 by default -- changing this value to 1 will activate your UpgradePlus Delay feature.
Re-enter the required additional information for each of your join options once you have altered your config.php file.
