You can add content to CARMA using the carma/cms_data directory.

You can add as many sub-directories to carma/cms_data as you want, and you can give the sub-directories any name, but each content set must be in a different folder, and every folder must have the permissions, 777. (You can change permissions with the program, chmod.)

After filling the sub-directories with content, go into the Scan Content Admin and use the left icon to navigate through the sub-directories. After finding the folder to scan for new content, click the right icon, select the sets you want to import, and click submit.

Now you can see and categorize the content in the other administrators. The more details you add, the better you and your members will be able to use your system, so try to enter as much information as you can -- especially if you add a search to your members area.
