Sometimes video thumbnails are created out of order; this happens when ffmpeg encounters a codec incompatibility in the video clip. You can fix the problem by disabling ffmpeg for this video format.

Navigate to the Configuration Page and click on "Video Formats" near the top of the page body. For the video formats which shouldn't use ffmpeg, click the check box in the column labeled 'No ffmpeg' and then click the "Store Changes" button near the bottom of the page. Figures 1.1 through 1.3 illustrate this setting change:
