CARMA supports most video formats when adding Video Content. However, it also uses a standardized name scheme that requires you to name your videos like the following example:
- video_title-format_short-number.ext
Simply replace video_title in the above example with your chosen title for that video. You should make the video title as descriptive as possible to easily sort through your videos. All clips in a singular content set should have the same title.
Replace format_short with the shortname you assigned for your new Video Content. This is used as an internal identifier in the CARMA database.
Replace number with the title and format's clip ID number.
Finally, replace .ext with your chosen file's file extension (for example, .wmv, .flv, .avi, etc).
Your new Content Set will now be properly named and ready to be uploaded to the CARMA database.
