This article describes common operations on video clips that can be taken through the Video Content Admin in CARMA.
Re-order Video Set
To re-order a video set in CARMA, go to the Video Content Admin, find the video set you wish to re-order, and click the Gallery action icon (the second icon in your available action icons).
On the next page, you will see a series of available thumbnails for your specified video set. You can re-arrange the order of these thumbnails by using the green left and right arrows.
Remove Video Clip from Content Set
To remove a video clip from a content set in CARMA, go to the Video Content Admin, find the video set you wish to remove, and click the Gallery action icon (the second icon in your available action icons).
On the next page, you will see a list of all video clips available in that video set. To remove a video clip from your set, click either the Disable or Delete action icon. Disable simply removes the clip from your site, while Delete will permanently remove that video clip from your CARMA system.
Change Video Thumbnail
To change a video thumbnail in a content set in CARMA, go to the Video Content Admin, find the video set you wish to change thumbnails for, and click the Gallery action icon (the second icon in your available actions icons).
On the next page, you will see a list of all video clips available in that video set. To change a thumbnail for a particular video clip, locate the clip you wish to change your thumbnail for, and click the "Refresh Thumb" action icon. This will change your current thumbnail to a different thumbnail stored in CARMA.
You can create new thumbnails by clicking the "Create new Extra Thumb" action icon. Simply click the icon for the content set you wish to create an extra thumbnail for, and it will appear in the "Extra Video Thumbnails" table on the top of the page.
Go to the video set, click the gallery icon, click the refresh button, and click on the thumbnail you want to use. Make new thumbnails by clicking the New Thumbnail icon.
Create Video Thumbnail
To create a new video thumbnail for a Content Set in CARMA go to the Video Content Admin. On that page, locate the video set you wish to add thumbnails for, and click the "Gallery" action icon (the second icon in your available action icons).
On the next page, you will see a display of all video clips that are available for that video set in CARMA. If you wish to create a new video thumbnail for a clip in that video set, locate the clip you wish to create a thumbnail for, and click the "Create new Extra Thumb" action icon.
This will add a thumbnail from that video clip to your "Extra Video Thumbnails" list above, where you can change the order of thumbnails to be displayed, set a default thumbnail for the video set, or delete the thumbnail from your list.
