Note - we will use 'pixel' in this article to include any img, iframe, or server posts.

Overriding in Test Mode

• From the Affiliates admin find the account you want to test.
• Click Actions then choose Override in Test Mode
• You will be taken to the test page, with the option to exist test mode.

Testing in Test Mode

• Use the test link provided by the affiliate.
  • Important - test mode is session specific. You must make sure you are logged in on the same domain as the tracking link you are testing with.
• Clicking on the affiliate pixel will automatically send you back to the test page. You will see the pixels that are available to fire based on this click.
  • You will also see any pass through fields such as _ocid
• Fill in any extra variables required for the pixel using the fields available -- for instance, if the affiliate requires some advertiser field to be passed you can simulate it here.
• You may also change the type of pixel firing by putting the goal_slug of a goal in the force_trans_type field.

Viewing Results

After submitting the form the page will reload.

• Images and Iframes will display both the text of the pixel and the actual pixel on the page.
• Postbacks will display the text of the post url as well as the response.
