NATS For Networks Tracking Code
From TMM Wiki
Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Tracking Code is the special part of a URL that NATS For Networks uses to credit an affiliate and record statistics. The Tracking code is different for each affiliate, offer, and creative. To get the Tracking code, start with an affiliate's linkcode. For example:
http://example.com/track/NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA
The Tracking code is the arbitrary string that follows track/ -- NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA in this case. The Tracking code won't always be at the end of a URL. For example:
http://example.com/track/NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA/landing_page.html
The Tracking code also doesn't always follow track. For example:
http://example.com/signup/process_pixel.php?ocode=NS41LjE3LjE3LjAuMS4yLjMuMC4wLjAuMA
In most NATS For Networks URLs, the Tracking code is easy to identify because it's the only word that doesn't resemble English.
See our Linkcode article for more information about Tracking codes.
