Types of Skins
There are two types of skin that you can add:a parent skin and child skin.
Parent Skin
A parent skin is the skin which the child skin copies the templates from. The first parent skin is the skin which affect all of it's child skins. It is the first skin of the group of skins. Of the other child skins which is not the first skin, the parent skin is also the child skin of the first parent skin.
Child Skin
A child skin is a copy of the skin you are copying from (which is also called the parent) but when you change the templates of the parent the same template will change in the child skin. When you change the child skin, it will not affect the parent skin. A child skin is usually used when you want to change something on the skin but you also want to keep a copy of the original. A child skin can also be a parent skin if a child skin is being added from it. For the the child skin to be affected by the parent skin, the skin type for the child and the parent have to be advanced.
