Biller Setup

Click and Buy

Sign up for an account with Click and Buy. Click and Buy should be able to provide you with the following information:

Under the "Event Messaging Service" section, set the EMS Type to PULL. If you do not do this, your poll will not work, and no recurring transactions will be recorded..

NATS

In the Billers Admin, add Click and Buy. Fill in the SellerID and Transaction Manager Password you received from Click and Buy

For the EMS domain, fill in the main domain from WSDL. For example, for this WSDL: http://wsdl.eu.clickandbuy.com/EMS/1.0/EMSbinding.wsdl you'd want to fill in: eu.clickandbuy.com

Site Setup

Click and Buy

In Click and Buy, under Offer Administration, add the new domain. If you already have a domain for the site you're setting up, that's fine.

NATS

Add the site in NATS if it isn't already added. There is no site-specific setup for Click and Buy in NATS

Option Setup

One time sales

Click and Buy

Click on the domain for the site in Click and Buy, and then click Link List

At the bottom of the page is a form to add a new link

  • Link needs to be http://nats.site.com/signup/process_clickandbuy.php (where nats.site.com is the domain for your NATS install)
  • Link Type needs to be Transaction
  • Price needs to be the price of the join option
  • Duration needs to be set to the amount of time they get access for

Name and Info need to be filled in, but do not affect nats. Do not choose Dynamic Price, Dynamic Currency, or MD5 encryption

After adding the link, you need to get the url of the link, and the link id. When looking at the list of links, you should see something like: 

Link (12345678)

The number in parenthesis is the Link ID. The URL it links to is the Link URL. Right click on the url and copy the link's location (Do not just go to the url and copy the address from there).

Once you have link setup, edit the link with the Change Entry button, and activate it.

NATS

Add or edit the join option for the site in nats. Fill in the Link ID and Link URL

Recurring Sales

Click and Buy

Recurring sales are set up as subscriptions in Click and Buy

Under Offer Administration, click the Subscriptions link. Click the Add button to add a new subscription

  • Name and description are required, but do not affect NATS
  • Leave the two check boxes unchecked

Now that you've created the subscription, you'll need to add fees to it. Click the add fee button.

  • Name and Information are required, but do not affect NATS
  • Price is the price and currency of the fee
  • Do not check dynamic price
  • Do check transaction
  • Change the type to redirect
  • Set the Success String to be result=success
  • Choose the site
  • Set the duration
  • Do not check dynamic period
  • If this is a trial , set the number of billings to 1; if it is a full membership, set the number of billings to endless
  • Content URL needs to be Link needs to be http://nats.site.com/signup/process_clickandbuy.php (where nats.site.com is the domain for your NATS install)

If this is a full membership, you're done setting up the fee. If this is a trial, click the add fee button again. This fee is the same as the previous fee, except the price is different, the duration is different, and you want to set the number of billings to endless.

Once you have the fees setup, verify the information you have entered is correct. If it is, click the Set Active button to activate the subscription.

After adding the subscription, you need to get the url of the link, and the link id. When looking at the list of subscriptions (or on the edit subscription page), you should see something like: 

Subscription purchase link.:  	12345678

Instant Upgrades

If you are performing instant upgrades, you need to make another subscription for your trial subscriptions. Make the new subscription. The information is the same, but the fees are different; make only a single fee, for the recurring period.

After setting up the upgrade subscription, at the bottom of the page is Subscription Definition Replacement Rules. From there, click the first radio button (Allow upgrade to [subscription name]), and choose the trial subscription from the dropdown.

When looking at the list of subscriptions (or on the edit subscription page), you should see something like:

NATS

In NATS, add or edit the join option. Fill in the Link ID and Link URL you retrieved from adding the subscription. If you're performing instant upgrades, add the Upgrade Link ID and Upgrade Link URL as well. You must set the Click and Buy currency for subscriptions -- otherwise NATS will not know what the currency is.
