Setting up at Voxtel

Voxtel is a special biller in NATS that supports phone transactions. If you wish to become a merchant and accept VOXTEL as a payment processor, go to http://www.voxtel.com/.

Note: If you would like to use Voxtel with NATS, your server must have the PHP JSON module. Please contact your host about configuring this on your server before processing transactions with Voxtel.

Setting up Voxtel in NATS

Billers Admin

To begin setting up Voxtel in NATS4, go to the Billers Admin. Scroll down to the "Setup New Biller" drop-down menu, select Voxtel, and click "Add".

Note: If you don't see Voxtel, put in a support ticket, as you may need an updated version of NATS.

Fill in the Username and Password given to you by Voxtel when prompted, and click Save. This information is needed to display the Voxtel payment form and for polling Voxtel for transactions. If you were not provided with this information, please contact Voxtel.

Note: Voxtel only supports transactions with Canadian phone numbers

Sites Admin

For each site that you would like to use Voxtel as a payment processor, you will need to modify the VOXTEL Sub Client ID field in the default tour configuration. You can also check "Test Mode" in the tour configuration to redirect to the Voxtel test form for test transactions.

Since Voxtel is a special biller, you must configure special join options for Voxtel in the Sites Admin. A special join option will not require the surfer to have a cascade selected and will send the surfer to a special join form to collect member information. Next to the site you would like to add speical join options, click "Set Special Payment Options". Next, select "Voxtel" from the list of special billers in the "Biller" drop-down list in the "Add New Special Payment Option" section. You will also be prompted with the following details:

  • Amount: The amount the surfer will be charged for the transaction
  • Description: A description of the join option used for display purposes with Voxtel.
  • Rebill option: Select between "None", "Weekly" and "Monthly" to choose the rebilling period for the join option.

Note: Since Voxtel does not collect username and password member information, Voxtel cannot display the surfer's username and password after they have purchased. We recommend that you display this information on the approval template or send out an email when the member joins with this information. You can set this up in the default tour configuration in the Sites Admin.
